On this page I'll describe Patrick's life and career: The successes and failures.
Patrick was born in Redwing, Minnesota.
He graduated from Red Wing High School. Patrick is the oldest of three children, Alison and Kevin. He received his first break by dying
his hair red for a band gig, and then auditioning for The Princess Diaries. Patrick and four others auditioned for the lead male role.
The part went to Robert Schwartzman, but the director, Gary Marshall, liked him enough to write him his
own character.
